Although our main classes are for mixed abilities and we can accommodate any age and ability in them, we have found that some of our older athletes (50+) prefer to have a class of their own. In these classes we will still use the CrossFit methodology, but programme the workouts for what we think would benefit the elder athlete most.
We’ve seen 50+ classes in the local sports centre, and they are the opposite of what we believe the older athlete needs. Sitting in a chair, waving hankies and treating your bodies like you’re incapable of doing more won’t really get you fitter and stronger. We have more belief in you than that…..we know that with proper functional fitness training, you can roll back the years, getting stronger, fitter and more able than you have been in a long time.
The classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 1:30pm for one hour. Therefore, they would suit the retired or people who are free during the day.
Your first class is FREE and after that the cost is £5 per class (cash on the door). They are currently on a drop-in basis (rather than booked in advance on our booking system like our other classes) .
